My good God! Look at those backgrounds! Those are amazing! I have to pick this up. The story could be utter crap (though with Chuck Austen as co-writer I doubt it) and the art alone would make it worth getting. Absolutely wonderful!

Well, I'm going to be checking this out as it looks and sounds interesting enough, but I really hate that MarvelScope Format.

Wow! This looks fantastic!

I'm glad to see MarvelScope returning! Steve Uy's artwork really shows what it can do. This looks much better artistically than the previous MarvelScope stories. I can't wait!

Why not get your local store to pre-order it for you, then you'll be guaranteed to get it!

This looks awesome! I've been so excited about this since I first heard about it two months ago. I love the coloring these books have, almost a monochrome feel, but in colour. I love Manga and have faith in Uy so this will rock! I'm gonna preorder every issue in the series through Preveiws mag. :D

There's a side of my brain that tells me I should wait for the trade, to enjoy the entire story in one sitting (and I just like Trades more than single issues). Then the other side decides to kick that one's ass. Basically, with this being a new series, it NEEDS to have readers on the single issues to show support for the concept and creative team. If not, there won't even BE a trade. AND, with this being produced in Marvelscope, a trade is even MORE unlikely unless the series proves to be very popular.

But then again, that could just be my pessimism at work. Either way, this looks fantastic and I can't wait to read it. Gonna put it on my pre-order list on Wednesday!

mjjj, Silver Snail really should have it. Otherwise, just give me a shout, and I should be able to find it. But, I figure that this book should be in most of the comic shops, although, not sure how long it would last. But, its a good idea that it will appear in a few.

And, I'm definitely getting this. Although, I am not a huge fan of the style, I am greatly intruiged by the story AND the art. But, I think it should be really neat to see how it is written, because both are writing, and both are artists. (although, only Staeve Uy is doing the art, which looks really good so I'll say it twice)

I'm definitely picking this up. I'm glad to see that the Marvelscope format isn't dead yet. Mabus gave some good reasons to pick up the single issues, which I'll be doing. I too prefer TPBs but with this series I can't help pick it up now. I can't wait to find out how it ties into the Marvel Universe. Congrats, Uy.

With art by Steve and story by Steve and Chuck, this is definately a series I'm going to be picking up. Steve's covers for Icons: Iceman and Uncanny X-Men are awesome and I'm glad he's getting an interior art job. Let's hope it leads to a fill-in or possibly regular artist on a X-title!

I only pray it doesn't.

I mean it looks to be a sci-fi western with cool art that has nothing to do with superheroes in an unconventional format! This is exactly what the comic book industry needs, and I'm honestly supprised to see Marvel publishing this. I would have picked Image or Wildstorm to do this kind of book.

With things like this, Killraven, Mek, Global Frequency, The Red Star and Forever Maelstrom solicited this month it looks to be a great time for sci-fi comic fans who are getting tired of superheroes!

It IS in the Marvelscope format according to Steve Uy, as that is what he wanted for a more Cinematic View.

Let's just hope that it's put to good use. Out of the few issues/annuals that used it, it could have been done in the normal format and still look the same.

Ooh, nice. If anything I'm glad that Marvel is taking a cue from DC for more non-mainstream-universe books because self-contained realities such as the ones written in DC's Vertigo are refreshing, to say the least. (No jumping me! I know Marvel's done it before. Just not enough.)

I'm not sure why there's confusion over whether Eden's Trail is in the MarvelScope format or not, as it clearly states in the solicitation copy for issue #1 in the article on the first page of this thread that it is MarvelScope.

Actually I believe Steve Uy has said that it takes place in the MU--just not on Earth.
