When Access first discovered he had the power to create amalgams, it was by amalgamating the modern-day Robin with the original X-Men's Angel, creating the Avenging Wonder named Redwing.
As a member of the X-League, Redwing fought against the Brotherhood Of Evil Gods. He was defeated by Kantique who shapechanged into the form of Redwing's mentor, Bat-X, distracting him long enough to knock him unconscious.
