The figure, which spans numbers #49-51 in the set of 96, is described by WizKids as follows:

"The second member of the FF, the Human Torch is the team’s ranged combatant. The best way to use him is to keep him out of range until he is ready to attack. Then swoop forward with Running Shot (up to 5 squares on his Veteran version) and fireball your target for 3 damage! If your opponent has a long range unit, he will still need to overcome the Torch’s Energy Shield/Deflection bonus. The tougher versions gain Energy Explosion a short way down the dial and finish off at the end with a big boost to his damage and Pulse Wave to reflect his Nova Blast! Use it well!"

WizKids are promising a new sneak peek on their official Web site (http://www.wizkidsgames.com/heroclix/marvel/sneakpeak.asp?cid=37216) each Wednesday leading up to the expansion's release in November.

I think Mr. Fantastic will be very similar in powers/stats to DC's Plastic Man.

For shame, mate! Comparing Reed's intellect to that psycho Plaz! (Even Offspring scores higher on the sanity scale.)
:D

I love Marvel hero clix, but I have a complaint, well 2 actually.

1
they have changed the dials and I think they dont work as well :(

2
why the hell are they leaving out classics like Iceman, Angel and Beast and putting in crap ppl like Mr hyde etc. Hell a common thug got in before these ppl, gawds we have the brotherhood at last, but still no Mystique, who chooses whos in and who isnt ?? cos they must have been way too drunk ;)

Well, no 1 - I feel they are a lot better. A lot harder to break the figure of it's base!

2 - They will be out. But if they release all the characters everyone likes then no one would buy the further releases with characters that no one really likes that much.

The Human Torch figure does look very cool. Hope he isn't like a Firelord though!

Besides which, generic characters like Thugs, Henchmen and SHIELD Agents are needed to flesh out the game so that it's not all uber-powerful characters battling it out.

Patience, Ice. HeroClix has been very well received so there will undoubtedly be many more expansions to come. I'm hoping we end up seeing every character and group from the Marvel and DC Universes represented in miniature form!

I've been wondering, since there aren't gonna be any Clobbering time starter sets, how will they do new powers like Reed's streatching power? Are they gonna add new powers somehow? :?

Clobberin' Time will utilize some of the new powers introduced in DC HeroClix. I'd assume that they'll include a small PAC update card with each booster listing said powers.

Thanks X-Fan. I've been wondering how or if they were gonna do that. :)
