Now ComiX-Fan is proud to present the Unofficial Marvel HeroClix Visual Figures Guides - exhaustive and complete references for every single Marvel HeroClix figure! Can't remember how many clicks Veteran Mystique has Perplex for, when Experienced Beast gets Support, what Team Ability Rookie Hellcat has, or which version of Sasquatch is actually Tanaraq? Never fear! Every character is listed in the Guides by their collector number, and features an image as well as complete statistics, including every click on their combat dials! The Guides even includes all the stats for the Limited Edition and Exclusive figures, as well as the newest addition to the game - Bystander cards, Battlefield Condition cards, and Feat cards!

<a href="http://www.comixfan.com/xfan/images/games/hc_visualguide.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.comixfan.com/xfan/images/games/hc_visualguidet.jpg" align=right alt="ComiX-Fan's Unofficial Marvel HeroClix Visual Figures Guide preview"></a>All of the current Marvel HeroClix releases are featured, including the inaugural Infinity Challenge set, the two pre-release promotional figures, the giant-sized Sentinel figure, the Clobberin' Time expansion set, the Xplosion expansion set, the Critical Mass expansion set, the giant-sized Galactus figure, the Universe expansion set, the Ultimates expansion set, the Mutant Mayhem expansion set, the Nova and Dark Phoenix exclusives, as well as the new Armor Wars expansion set and the Phoenix exclusive!

There have also been Guides released for the DC HeroClix (http://www.comixfan.com/xfan/forums/showthread.php?t=10899) and Indy HeroClix (http://www.comixfan.com/xfan/forums/showthread.php?t=21682) sets.

Players should note that the use of such Guides in sanctioned tournament play is considered illegal and therefore should only be used for reference purposes in non-sanctioned play.

ComiX-Fan's Unofficial HeroClix Visual Figures Guides are presented as Excel spreadsheets, and are pre-formatted for ease of printing. To download the Guides, click the links below.

This is a very cool guide XFan. It sure makes it easier than having to go to the Heroclix website to see what stats the other figures have. Also the fact that you will be updating it with the new releases is deffenently a bonus.

Glad you like it, stranger! It took quite a long time to compile (inbetween working on X-Fan and that strange and wonderful thing called "life"), not to mention getting the formatting just right!

You guys rock! This compilation is great and while it shouldn't be used for tournament play it sure is handy to have around.

Thanks guys

Great job Eric. Makes it very easy to work out which characters will be good to use in a tournament! :)

This guide is so cool. The only thing I wish they would have done differantly with the figurenes is make a different one for each level. Take Rogue for example, she hasn't had the same outfit for her whole time as a supervillian/heroine, so why should her figurine?

Because it would have cost more to produce a figure with three different variations in the sculpt, rather than one sculpt per figure.

Just fixed another error with the Hobgoblin's entries (Battle Fury/Orange should be Ranged Combat Expert/Red).

I've just updated the Guide to include auto-popups whenever you mouse over a super-power color that tell you briefly what the super-power is!

I'm also hard at work on a DC Guide. As soon as I can hunt down all the stats (and if you've got any, please e-mail them to me), I'll release it.

Updated the Guide once more to include the stats for the recently-arrived LE Wolverine #171!

I downloaded this and love it! But can someone please tell me the frequency of the different levels of rarity. Something like:
Common 1- One in every booster (or one in every 4 figs)
Common 2- One in every 2 boosters (or one in every 8 figs)
...
Rare 5- One in every five boosters (or one in every 20 figs)

Am I even close on this guess? Also can you get Limited Editions out of booster packs?
Thanks, Mike

LE's are only available if you win tournaments with prize support or some can be purchased (I think the Beserker Wolverine is one of these plus the Ant-Man and Yellowjacket LE's were only available at a recent convention).

I'm not sure about the frequency of figures in boosters though.

mike, you can't get Limited Editions out of boosters. They are only available by playing in sanctioned tournaments, via special mail-away offers, or - if you're really desperate - on eBay.

And I'm not exactly sure on the rarity distribution. I'm pretty sure that you're meant to get one rarity 4 or higher (uncommon, rare or unique) in each booster, and two in each starter.

Hey Eric for some reason the file is a .rar which wont play in Excel. Am I doing something wrong? :?

Eric J. Moreels
Mar 4, 2003, 10:22 am
RAR files are compressed archives like ZIP files. You need a program like WinRAR (www.rarlab.com/) to extract the spreadsheet from the archive.

The reason I used RAR to compress it is because it usually offers better compression than ZIP does, and with a 2.9 meg spreadsheet it needed the best compression possible to allow me to attach it to the above post!

Any idea when they'll start announcing the figures for the next DC set, due in June?

How can we sign up to be notified when there are updates to the list? The stats for the Xplosion LE's are out now...

By the way, Eric, GREAT job on this - I really appreciate not having to do this myself!

Okay, I've had to split the Marvel Guide up into two spreadsheets because the filesize was just getting too unwieldy. So, the first file has the IC, Sentinel, and CT stats, whilst the second currently has the XP stats.

I've updated the XP file to include stats and pics for the XP LEs, including the new Betsy Braddock LE!
