Deadbolt appeared to be a living skeleton who could extract his bones and use them as weapons. In one of his earlier tasks, he helped the group hunt down the former member Foxbat. Afterwards, in the Morlock tunnels and later in Egypt, Deadbolt and the other Dark Riders clashed with Cable, Domino, Storm and Caliban. In one of these battles, Domino incapacitated him by kicking his jawbone right off. Some time following this, Deadbolt helped his leader Genesis in his dealings with Mister Sinister by abducting the X-Man known as Phoenix. The Dark Riders later captured Cyber so that Genesis could take the adamantium from his body in a plan to make Wolverine his first Horseman. Deadbolt was slain by Wolverine after he rejected the adamantium and regressed to a feral state. Eyes: Inapplicable Hair: None Other Distinguishing Features: Glowing blue skeletal appearance Powers and Abilities: Deadbolt can remove the bones from his body and use them as melee or throwing weapons. Theory:
Deadbolt may have survived Wolverine's attack in #100. In Cable #19 Domino kicked his jaw right off. Despite the bloody mess Logan left him in, Deadbolt may be able to pull himself back together. Yes I do know about the Dead is dead policy Marvel got, this is just a thought I wanted to share. |
Yeah I agree, he's like Sack, he'd just pull himself back together...though I think he would have been seen with the other Dark Riders in X-Man...

he wasn't in Cable #18, but was in #17 and #19
