Ocean is a member of America's newest mutant superhero team, O-Force. Like all potential recruits, Ocean had to compete in a live television program, hosted by Solomon O'Sullivan, to win a place on the O-Force team.

On a mission with O-Force, Ocean tried to free a town that was terrorized by a mutant boy named Arnie Lundberg. Fighting Lundberg's army of exploding animated corpses, Ocean was caught in one of the explosions and lost her legs. She was deserted by the rest of her teammates, but was rescue by Orphan of the team X-Statix. After Orphan mad peace with Lundberg, he had the boy regrow Ocean new legs.

ocean was apparently killed by zombies resurrected by a reality warping mutant named arnie. also her around that time her legs exploded off leaving her helpless to the monsters. poor ocean

arnie reserected all the dead people in the town as zobies the zombies explode on contact with people (or they could just be programmed to kill members of o force?) Unfortunatly Ocean got to close to one of the zombies which blew up, her legs were blown off and she was abandoned bye her team mate overkill. She could still be alive, she didnt seem to be bleeding and people do survive having limbs blown off put i think its doubtfull she will survive through xstatix#4

i really thought that oforce especially ocean had potential, for some reason the character always caught my eye. She also apperared in xstatix#1-3 and have a feeling she was the team leader as she made the team statement before they left for their second mission in xstatix#3

hopefully we will see an new member to replace her in an up and comming version of oforce. could the replacement be venus?
