Real Name: Carmella Unuscione
First Appearance: Uncanny X-Men #298
Group Affiliation: Acolytes
Known Relatives: Angelo Unuscione (Unus, father), Jared Corbo (Radius, half-brother)
Major Enemies: X-Men

Unuscione first appeared as leader of the group of Acolytes after the destruction of Asteroid M. Apparently the daughter of Unus the Untouchable, Unuscione can surround herself with a psionic exoskeleton, which serves as reflective body armour and which can be extended as giant hands or other shapes for blunt or grappling attacks. Unuscione's exoskeleton also carries a neuro-energy charge which paralyzes her opponents, flash-frying their pain centers.

With the destruction of Genosha at the hands of Sentinels controlled by Cassandra Nova, Unuscione's final fate is unknown.

Unuscione's relation to Unus has never been explained. She could easily be a sister instead of a daughter, especially as Unus renamed himself from Angelo Unuscione to Gunther Bain.
Wouldn't a daughter / family adopt the new name too ?

Towards the end of the second Alpha Flight series, a Geneology search turned up Unus the Untouchable as Radius's father. Therefore IF Carmella is Unus's daughter, then they are half-siblings.

No.
Radius and Flex share the same mother, but have different fathers.

Radius and Unuscione are related through Unus, their father (or in Unuscione's case maybe older brother), but Flex and Unuscione have no relation at all.

Yup, you're wrong.

Radius and Flex are half-brothers because they share a mother. Radius and Unuscione are supposedly half-siblings because they share a father. Flex and Unuscione have no relation to each other whatsoever.

Other than a non-canon novel, I don't believe it was even implied. People inferred that she was related to Unus based on her name, and the fact that her powers are a sort of forcefield (with a twist).
