On a separate note, I want to mention that this character’s actual name (code-name or otherwise) was never revealed at all, let alone be Flora. I liked her and felt that she deserved a character biography of her own. I figured that Flora would be a good name for her, and went with it.

Fair enough! It'd be difficult to include her otherwise, and given the names of her "ranchmates" I'd say Flora fits her well.
