A young mutant possessed of reality-warping powers, Trevor Chase is the grandson of the blind precognitive mutant Destiny. Upon Destiny's death, Trevor came under Mystique's protection in her identity as Raven Darkholme.

Under orders from Graydon Creed, Trevor was savagely attacked by members of the Friends of Humanity. Mystique swore revenge and attempted to assassinate Creed.

Later, Trevor came to the attention of the secret government project known as the Hounds and its mysterious leader Bowser. Bowser, who had recently recruited Sabretooth into the Hounds, dispatched the feral mutant to capture the boy so as to induct him into the Hound Project.

Sabretooth killed Trevor's parents, and would have killed the boy as well if not for the intervention of the Hound known as Stone, who warned Sabretooth not to defy the Hounds. Stone then took Trevor back to the Hound project.

Well, it was strongly implied that he was Destiny's grandson, but not confirmed.
