Powers: Morphing

Copycat is a mutant morph who is able to assume any person's features and traits. She masqueraded as Domino as part of a plan by Genesis, then known as Tolliver, to capture Cable. She escaped after she was found out and was wounded by Deadpool, whom she was once in a relationship with before Deadpool entered the Weapon X program, after locating the real Domino.

Later surfacing in her true identity, she hooked up with Kane and the two attempted to live a normal life. However, fate intervened, and whilst Kane came under the employ of A.I.M., Copycat came to work for the Taskmaster, posing as Titania so as to get close to Deadpool, whom the Taskmaster held a grudge against.

After finally coming to terms with her on-again/off-again relationship with Deadpool, Copycat was killed by Sabretooth under orders from the shadowy organization known as Weapon X.

As far as my knowledge goes,there have only been 2 Domino's:

Domino I was a Hulk villain who in turn created the Scourge organization

shouldn't it be mentioned that unlike all the other shapeshifters she had an unvisible form. and that her man deadepool was quite abusive to her and she just kept crawling back to him like a lap dog.

great!! i was told she could do that when her powers were augemented by wepon-x once again i have failed.

uncanny x-men.net listed this as her powers.......metamorphically alter her features and assume the exact physical appearance and special powers of anyone she touches for long term periods . maybe u should put that in instead of making her seem to be like a redundant shapeshifter.

In her later appearances, she'd apparently circumvented the touch limitation and lost the ability to use others' powers... so she was just another shapeshifter when she died. Some tradeoff--if she'd still had the 'copy powers via touch' ability, she wouldn't have died; her death in Deadpool: Agent of Weapon X is almost identical in circumstances to the ending of the first Deadpool miniseries, where Deadpool's healing factor saves her life.

Don't know (maybe she burned it out?). The writers of her later appearances seem to have not known about that power, and basically turned her into a copy of Mystique (well, moreso of a copy than she already was).

I can't believe she's dead! I never read much X-Force or anything else with her in it but was reading some reference where she posed as Domino for a while. Did Domino ever confront her?

Yes, in X-Force #24 and Cable #4, I believe.

Domino, Hammer and Grizzly had Copycat show them X-Force's base camp, and Grizzly had to restrain Domino from killing Vanessa during the trip. Copycat later escaped from Domino when they were distracted by Hammer's attack on Cable.

Later in Cable #37-39, Copycat and Domino's dislike for one another came to a head when Psycho-Man boosted their negative emotions, and they duked it out. They managed to set aside their differences to help Cable and Kane defeat Psycho-Man.
