Iris Simpson was the bride-to-be of the motorcycle stuntman Blaze Allen. Shortly after they were married, Iris was murdered by Night Spectre when he drained her life-force. He also took her soul back to his realm.

Iris' soul, among others, was eventually released from Night Spectre's sanctum when her husband Blaze, now also known as Speed Demon, defeated Night Spectre.
