Default Hulk [alternate reality]

Real Name: Robert "Bruce" Banner
First Appearance: Exiles #40
Last Appearance: Exiles #45
Group Affiliation: Weapon X
Height: 7'0"
Weight: 1,040 lbs.
Eyes: Green
Hair: Green
Powers: The Hulk possesses the capacity for nearly limitless physical strength. In times of stress, the Hulk's adrenaline level escalates, causing a corresponding escalation in strength. By and large, he is impervious to injury and pain. His physiology renders him immune to diseases.

The Hulk and Firestar were presumably sent in by the Timebroker to neutralize the threat Hyperion posed to Weapon X. However, their coup of the de facto Weapon X leader would fail, leading them to be tortured in the middle of Time Square.

Following the discovery that the Timebroker wanted Weapon X and their counterparts the Exiles to reduce the number in their ranks by killing off eachother, the Hulk was disintegrated by Hyperion's Atomic Vision as he hung from the Spider's webbing.

In our reality, Bruce Banner was supervising the experimental trials of a gamma bomb for the U.S. Government when he rescued a teenager Rick Jones who had wandered onto the testing field. As a result, he was struck full force by the gamma bomb. Though he survived, he was irradiated by the deadly gamma energy, transforming him into the brutish Incredible Hulk!

Bruce Banner should not be confused with Jennifer Walters who also served as a member of Weapon X before him using the same codename. For more information about that Hulk, refer to her S.H.I.E.L.D. File.

Appearances:
Exiles #40, 43-45

For more information about this character in the mainstream universe, please refer to ComiX-Fan's S.H.I.E.L.D. Files.

The following entries are made for appearances in various alternate realities. Brief descriptions of the alternate realities are made in parenthesis. For further comments about these alternate reallities, please refer to the Alternate Realities Thread:

Hulk (Mimic's Reality)
Appearances: Exiles #14
The Hulk appears on the cover of a publication called Newstime.

Hulk (Zero Tolerance)
Appearances: Exiles #2
Banner was held at a Maximum Security Prison one hundred miles off the coast of Tahiti alongside Magneto and an assortment of other Super Beings before being rescued by Magnus, Magneto's son from an alternate reality.

Hulk (Wolverine's Alpha Flight)
Appearances: Exiles #5-6
When the Hulk went on a rampage after being separated from Bruce Banner, he entered Canada and became Canada's problem and Canada's problems are Alpha Flight's problems. This paved way for Project Goliath, a mission headed by Wolverine for the capture of the Green Menace. However, when Wolverine discovered that everyone on Project Goliath was going to die unless the Exiles intervened, Logan sent Beta through Gamma Flight to Australia to assist the Fantastic Four with the massive relocation of Namor and the Kingdom of Atlantis. Though he had good intentions sending the less experienced groups out of harm's way, he did not stop to think that maybe it was because he sent Beta through Gamma Flight away that everyone on Project Goliath was going to get killed.

The reality-hopping team called Weapon X was also trying to apprehend the Hulk and wanted the Exile known as Thunderbird and the Shaman, that timeline's version of Thunderbird, to beat the Hulk into submission so, while they were bonding with Green Giant, Deadpool shot the Hulk in the head causing him to nuclear on the two John Proudstars. Thunderbird would successfully defeat the Hulk, but the Exiles would teleport in before Weapon X could ever lay hands on him. The Hulk was brought back to Level D of Alpha Flight Research Facility where he was examined round the clock by medical personnel, radiation specialists, and anthropologists.

Banner Beast (The Skrull Colonies)
Appearances: Exiles #9-10
Here he is called the Banner Beast, the maxi-heavy-weight champion of The Games who is more feared than admired. After the Skrulls departure, Bruce partook in the battles against both the herald Terrax and his master, the world devouring Galactus. In the final battle, it was Banner who was to deliver the coup de grace to the planet eater, an antimatter bomb, but was blown too far from Galactus to get at him in time, leaving it all up to Thunderbird.

Hulk (Legacy)
Appearances: Exiles #20-21
Banner is one of many in the legion of infected Vi-Locks that dominate Earth. He battles the Avengers during their attempted infiltration of Mainframe and is often seen at the side of Forge, undisputed leader of the Vi-Lock Nation.

Hulk (Iron Monarchy)
Appearances: Exiles #24
The Incredible Hulk of this timeline was killed by Iron Man when he dropped a high concentration Gamma Bomb on him that created a radiation storm so intense that even Hulk couldn't absorb all the radiation. However, Wonder Man was standing 20 feet away at the time and the combination of Simon Williams's ionic energy, the gamma rays, and the genetic material he absorbed from the disintegarting Banner made him into a new kind of stronger Hulk.

Hulk (Hulkbusters)Appearances: Exiles #38
The greatest probability of success for Weapon X to complete their mission on this world lied in the death of Bruce Banner, so he was killed by Ms. Marvel.
