I really like the art. I think Cheung had a unique abd refreshing style. I really like the characters too, except maybe their codenames

The following will be in spoilers thusly, read at your own risk. SPOILER! Well, he's more of less dead. Iron Lad found his body in Stark Industry, using his armor he was able to access Vison (via holo projection). I personally think he's as dead as a robot can be, he has no mobility and Iron Lad may just be accessing some memory files or something like that, I'm sure we'll find out next issue

Again this book impresses me, a fun read and recommended to all.

The impression I got is that Iron Lad acount access his memory files, not his personality itself, so it was probably more a question and answer session than a converstation...

What about Patriot been shot: is he really bullet proof, what kind of supersoldier (that's how hulkling calls him) is he?
I really love this book and its characters, it will be great to discover their lives.

It's called body armour, like Cap's original chainmail, only thing probably sleaker, futuristic and in some way provided by Iron Lad. Many of the street level fighters (being basically human and fairly vulnerable to any number of energy blasts and mountain shattering punches) had the sense to at least wear bullet proof clothing, like Cap, Batman, Robin, Nightthrasher, Punisher, and many others. Black Panther's suit was itself once able to withstand a Hulk punch (but he's got vibranium at his disposal). Sure Cap can dodge most gunfire, is tougher than the average Joe, and has a shield to block with, but if he's going to bother with a shield why not also wear some form of protection. He and the other fighters are good, but they are not energy wasters or overconfident that they are going to dodge, block or even see every single attack coming at them.

I get the feeling Iron Lad maybe actually responsible for the other three's powers. It seems fairly much like they are there at his behest and resemble Avengers because he came there looking for them in the first place. It's likely since he couldn't get their attention, he made his own Avengers out of teens willing to believe him. Looking at Asgardian's lightning rod/cane I even think it could be the wooden cane form Mjolnir once took when Thor was Donald Blake. They maybe unable to turn it to Mjolnir but can still tap into some of its lightning control, and superstrengthen Asgardian. For a scrawnyish teen he lifts Hulkling easily enough and stood calmly in those attackers' gunfire.

This is simply a gem disguised previously as a cheesy teen book. In only two issues' time, this book has gone from the "I guess I'll try it for a laugh" pile to the very top of my reading list. Superb storytelling. And the characters are already so rich and individual...I'm a big fan of this book and cannot praise Heinberg enough for blowing so many skeptics (this one included) right out of the water and onto the bandwagon.

Thats all right dude. I used to take those types of characters for granted too but now I love em. Atlas is responsible for some of it. Atom is too.
