The strange being known only as Doop is the new X-Force's resident cameraman; responsible for recording all of the teams' missions.

Doop is what can be described as an "all-purpose carry-all". It can ingest anything, store it in the infinite space within itself, and then expel it for later use.

Doop also shares a past with the feral mutant known as Wolverine. Although the exact details of their shared history are unknown, it has been revealed that Wolverine and Doop have been friends for quite some time.

After X-Force became known as X-Statix, Doop was assigned to deal with a once possible recruit named Corkscrew, who was mentally unstable. Doop carried out the protocal known only as Code X, where it took Corkscrew to a forested area, and had him killed and buried shortly after.
