Looks awesome. Artwork is on form - which I expected. Cant comment to much on how the story progression feels as it’s hard to get a grasp from the few pages here, but James did say that the 2 issues were original intend to be an OGN so I doubt the story will feel to hindered from issues to issues. Should flow quiet smoothly. Can’t wait for this

The artwork continues to look gorgeous. Reminds me of a more refined Ben Templesmith.

I'm pleased to see some decent characterisation in the script, too.

I shall definitely pick this up in trade format when it comes out.

I love the pacing of the argument, the composition is really what sells it. At all the right moments the figures feel isolated. It looks great!

Thanks for checking us out, Anthony! I hope you enjoy the second part as much or more as the first. We all had fun and learned a lot from the book. It's actually the first comic for most of us ( I did some humor comics, but this is my first real non-humor book, and it's jay's and jm's first real book). Thanks again, man!

awesome. yeah, Dillinger's getting some pretty great reviews so far, including one stellar quote from Mr. Warren Ellis. There's a review archive at the Dillinger forum at the silent devil site, and it has all kinds of news archives and art and the first issue preview that ran at newsarama -- which you have to check out if you haven't seen.

thanks.

Try Loveless by Vertigo, too.

For yer first comic book it has to be said you've put in a fantastic effort. It must be really cool when one of the great writers of the medium congratulates you on yer first effort, too. Great job.

Heh, no worries loved the first part, cant see this one not having the same effect on me. And congrats on a good solid first venture into non-humour comics

Wow, now you know you’re onto a winner when Ellis sings you praise.

I can see it now:

"Oh, Dahling, you look simply fabulous in that cowboy hat!"

I would think Death Comes to Dillinger will be a sleeper hit.

Its not that obvious; lends heavily on established stereotypes, but an amusing and at times touching tale.
