PLANET HULK: DVDActive: Lionsgate Home Entertainment has officially announced Planet Hulk for release on February 2 on DVD, 2-Disc DVD and Blu-ray. The single-disc DVD will include a commentary by Supervising Producer Joshua Fine and Screenwriter Greg Johnson, "A Whole World of Hurt: The Making of Planet Hulk" featurette, and a Thor Tales of Asgard opening sequence. The 2-Disc DVD and Blu-ray will include all that, along with another commentary by Director Sam Liu, Character Designer Philip Bourassa and Key Background Painter Steve Nicodemus, a "Let the Smashing Commence! The Saga of Planet Hulk" featurette, a Spider-Woman: Agent of Sword Motion Comic, an Astonishing X-Men: Gifted Motion Comic, 2 music videos, a Wolverine and the X-Men "Wolverine vs. Hulk" Episode, and a digital copy of the film. DICK TRACY LAWSUIT: Hollywood Reporter: A federal bankruptcy judge in Delaware on Monday lifted a stay that prevented Warren Beatty from suing Tribune Media Services over movie and television rights to the Dick Tracy character. GENE RODDENBERRY: Reuters: Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry will be among those inducted into the Television Academy's Hall of Fame in January. PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS: Official Site: Nominees for the 2010 People's Choice Awards were announced on Tuesday, with Heroes, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Star Trek among the nominees. First he reported that Pam Grier is joining the cast of multiple episodes as the DC Comics character Amanda Waller, making her debut in the second hour of the Justice Society two-parter. He Then reported that he's hearing that The CW has decided to package the two Justice Society episodes into a two-hour movie event airing on January 29. Both episodes were written by Geoff Johns. DOLLHOUSE: Variety: Fox has cancelled Joss Whedon's Dollhouse. Fox currently plans to air the nine remaining episodes of the series. MARVEL STUDIOS: Variety: Marvel Studios has promoted president of physical production Louis D’Esposito to the slot of co-president of the studio. He'll work alongside Kevin Feige to oversee the production schedule.
