Post Jubilee (Jubilation Lee)

Jubilee II

Jubilee II (X-Corps costume)Real Name: Jubilation Lee
First Appearance: Uncanny X-Men #244
Known Relatives: unnamed parents, deceased
Group Affiliation: None, formerly X-Corps, Generation X, X-Men Blue Team
Major Enemies: Church of Humanity, Emplate, formerly Reavers
Known Allies: Wolverine, X-Men, formerly Skin
Powers: Plasma generation

When Jubilee's rich parrents were murdered, she was forced to live a life alone in the streets of California. While hanging out in a mall, she encountered the X-Men and followed them back through one of Gateway's warp portals to their headquarters in the Australian outback.

Jubilee stayed hidden until the Reavers captured and tortured Wolverine, whom she eventually rescued from their clutches. Tending to his wounds until he was well enough to travel, the two fled. She stayed with him until he rejoined the X-Men, when she also joined.

When the Phalanx captured a group of young mutants, Jubilee helped rescue them and later left the X-Men to join them at the Massachusetts Academy where they became the next generation of mutants, Generation X.

Jubilee II (Generation X costume)After the closing of the Massachusetts Academy, Jubilee sought to try her hand at acting in Los Angeles. However, this career was short-lived thanks to an unscrupulous agent who exploited Jubilee.

Jubilee later joined the militaristic organization known as the X-Corps which is run by her former headmaster, Banshee. She helped the X-Men to stop the rogue members of the X-Corps from doing more damage in Europe than they already had.

Some time after the X-Corps had disbanded, Jubilee, along with former teammate Skin, were captured by the Church of Humanity, a group dedicated to the eradication of the mutant race. She was crucified on the grounds of the Xavier Institute and left to die. Jubilee was one of the few to survive thanks to Archangel's new ability to heal.

Jubilee generates balls of plasmodic energy that release blinding light and concussive force. Most of the time they are small, but when Jubilee is stressed or scared, she can sub-conciously generate fireworks on a large scale. Jubilee has the unrealized potential to detonate matter on a molecular level.

Jubilee is one of those mutants who lost their powers because of the Scarlet Witch's desire that there be no more mutants. Currently, she's a political activist with useyourvoice.org. There, Jubilee is attempting to prevent Congressman Sykes from getting his Mutant Registration bill passed. This bill would have both the powered and depowered mutants registered.
