A mysterious female assassin who supposedly hears voices that determine her targets, Kali attacked Gambit and Rogue as a trial on her path to supposedly becoming a goddess.

Kali failed however, and seemingly died in an explosion.

Note that Kali V should not be confused with Kali I (the Hindu goddess), Kali II (Micronauts character), Kali III of the Nest, Kali IV (Iceman foe), Kali V (Shroud foe), or Kali VII of the Fanatix.
