Major Enemies: Formerly X-Factor I
Powers: Electricity generation

Not much is known about the mutant named Stinger prior to her appearance as a member of the Alliance of Evil, a group of mutants banded together by Apocalypse.

The Alliance acted as mutant terrorists, primarily defying the Mutant Registration Act, and this brought them into conflict with the original X-Factor team.

Eventually the Alliance disbanded, and Stinger's current whereabouts are unknown.

Stinger can generate electricty and release it as bolts fired from her hands.

Stinger III should not be confused with Stinger I (Ms. Marvel enemy), Stinger II (Avengers foe), or Stinger IV (Heroes For Hire villain).

Stinger did not appear in X-Factor #4. Her first appearance was #5.

There's really not that many electric-mutants, you know? :p It was good because all the other Alliance members had to fight physically, while Stinger could electrocute her enemies from a distance.

Is she a fashion victim from the 80's or is that just me.
Personally I thought the Alliance wasnt that good. Especially becaise Apocaylpse believes in survival of the fittest. I wouldnt really call them that fit.

True, for Apocalypse's dream, the Alliance were a pretty lame choice. Perhaps they were the fittest he could find while he gathered the Horsemen.
