No, she wasn't.
The grandparents had sent their pilot Madelyne to pick up Scott, Alex and Corsair from the airport since they themselves were busy.

So, it's true that she knew Madelyne before Scott did, but she was not present during their first meeting.

If you *REALLY* wanted your head to explode you could count Hyperstorm and his relatives (Reed and Sue Richards and their clan), which would end up being Deborah's and Phillip's relatives by marriage--alternate possible future as it may be.

i'd count Hyperstorm , but not the Richards clan. They aren't relatives to Deb. But if we were doing a bio on Racheal, then you would add all them.

They aren't related? But Sue's son from an alternate future's wife is the alternate future version of Jean's alterante future daughter! And seeing as Jean's clone's son's clone is Stryfe, that practically makes them inlaws:p

its the same thing as not adding any of Jean's family to the line. They aren't related to Deb. They are related to Jean (by blood), and Scott (by marriage) but thats as far as it goes. They wouldn't be added to Corsair, things ilke Daughter-In-Law's Mother etc simply doesn't count for Corsair.

Not that I was saying to add them in there, since it's unimportant and overly complicates things, but they *would* be relatives, even if it was only by marriage.

(That's if my memory is correct that Rachel and Franklin did get their equivalent of marriage in that alter-DoFP)
